My name is Milly Dyer and I am a local artist living in Newcastle Upon Tyne. My passion for creativity is endless. Throughout my life art remains a strong driver. I have taken on many different challenges and disciplines including painting, pottery, stained glass and glass jewellery. Each of these mediums has combined to influence my contemporary style of artwork today which involves the use of oils and acrylics. My love of colour and the therapy it provides shines through.

Some of my paintings represent a specific place in time. Other pieces allow the viewer to take themselves to wherever they would like to be at that moment. I hold a great love and respect for the outdoor world, from mountains, hills, sea, water and the sky. Anyone can find a time and a place to lose themselves inside my artwork.

I strongly believe art should be available to the many and not the few. To this end my aim is to provide a variety of options so that everyone can own their own piece of my artwork. The work, from the initial painting to canvas by me or the print to other materials, is completed by local businesses within Newcastle Upon Tyne.
